In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Galva Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Stark County Rebels.
The Wildcats (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Putnam County (Granville, IL). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Putnam County went down by Hinckley-Big Rock (Hinckley, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Rebels encounter the St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 26. Stark County will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Bruins come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL).
