The West Hall Spartans held off the host Johnson Knights volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Spartans now have a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to White County for a 3A Area 7 test on Tuesday, August 29. West Hall will confront a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 12-4.

The Knights (0-14) will now prepare for their test against North Oconee (Bogart, GA). The Titans enter the 4A Area 8 test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, North Oconee held off Chamblee (Chamblee, GA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
