The Mayfield Cardinals topped the visiting St. Mary Vikings volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cardinals now have a 10-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ballard Memorial for a District 3 contest on Tuesday, August 29. Mayfield will battle a Bombers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hickman County (Clinton, KY). The Bombers record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, St. Mary drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY) to battle the Comets in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 26. The Comets come into the contest with a record of 0-4. Carlisle County lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Mayfield (Mayfield, KY)
