With the win, Fairfax improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lions travel to South Lakes (Reston, VA) to encounter the Seahawks in a non-league test on Wednesday, August 28. The Seahawks go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to George C. Marshall for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 27. Westfield will encounter a Statesmen squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Oakton (Vienna, VA). The Statesmen record now stands at 0-1.
