California High School Flag Football - Esperanza thwarted by Mission Viejo

Mission Viejo Diablos (Mission Viejo, CA) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA), 24-7 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Mission Viejo improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Diablos travel to Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo, CA) to play the Mustangs in a battle on Thursday, August 29. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Trabuco Hills won 38-6 in their recent league battle against El Toro (Lake Forest, CA)

The Aztecs now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Crean Lutheran for a battle on Wednesday, September 25.
