In Monday's league outing, the host Central Dragons soccer squad scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders.

The Dragons (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA). The Rams go into the Laurel Highlands outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Penns Valley Area was edged by Hollidaysburg (Hollidaysburg, PA), 5-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Marauders confront the Clearfield Bison (Clearfield, PA) in a Laurel Highlands outing, on Wednesday, August 28. Bishop Guilfoyle will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
