Woodgrove Wolverines (Purcellville, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Loudoun Valley Vikings (Purcellville, VA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Woodgrove improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wolverines host Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA) to face the Falcons in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Vikings now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sherando for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 28. Loudoun Valley will face a Warriors squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Clarke County (Berryville, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.
