The Midway Raiders topped the host South Johnston Trojans volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league game.
Next up, the Raiders face the Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, September 4. Midway will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record.
The Trojans (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC). The Spartans go into the game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Smithfield-Selma gained a win over Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
