The Purnell Swett Rams volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Red Springs Red Devils to 0 in the Rams non-league triumph on Monday.

The Rams now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Gray's Creek for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 27. Purnell Swett will play a Bears team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Bears record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Red Springs drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Fairmont (Fairmont, NC) to play the Golden Tornadoes in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 12. The Golden Tornadoes come into the outing with a record of 0-3.
