Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC), 4-0 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Ashe County moves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC) to meet the Cardinals in a non-league match on Tuesday, August 27. The Cardinals come into the match with a record of 0-2. East Surry lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Starmount (Boonville, NC)

The Greyhounds now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ashe County for a non-league match on Wednesday, August 28. North Surry will meet a Huskies team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 6-0.
