The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Georgia Military College Bulldogs (Milledgeville, GA) and the host Brentwood War Eagles (Sandersville, GA), observed Georgia Military College's softball team notch a victory over Brentwood by a tally of 8-0.

The Bulldogs (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Mount de Sales Academy (Macon, GA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Mount de Sales Academy was routed by Calvary Christian (Columbus, GA), 18-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the War Eagles battle the Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars (Louisville, GA) in a GIAA Class A & AA District 4 bout, on Tuesday, August 27. Brentwood will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 11-4 league win over Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA).
