The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Chapel Hill Panthers (Douglasville, GA) and the visiting Decatur Bulldogs (Decatur, GA), observed Chapel Hill's softball team get by Decatur by a tally of 2-1.

The Panthers (6-5) will now prepare for their bout against Carrollton (Carrollton, GA). The Trojans go into the 6A Region 2 bout with a 6-4 record. In their last bout, Carrollton was nipped by Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA), 8-7, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Arabia Mountain Rams (Lithonia, GA) in a 5A Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, August 27. Decatur will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 17-4 league loss to Shiloh (Snellville, GA).
