The Dragons (8-5) will now prepare for their bout against Fairland (Fairland, OK). The Owls go into the non-league bout with a 10-2 record. In their last bout, Fairland gained a win over Spiro (Spiro, OK), 8-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Ironmen battle the Oklahoma Union Cougars (South Coffeyville, OK) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, August 27. Nowata will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 13-9 league loss to Commerce (Commerce, OK).
