The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Heritage Hawks (Newnan, GA) and the host Landmark Christian War Eagles (Fairburn, GA), observed Heritage's softball team prevail over Landmark Christian by a tally of 17-0.

The Hawks (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Central Fellowship Christian Academy (Macon, GA). The Lancers go into the GIAA Class A & AA District 1 bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Central Fellowship Christian Academy was routed by John Milledge Academy (Milledgeville, GA), 9-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the War Eagles clash with the Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, August 27. Landmark Christian will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Chamblee (Chamblee, GA).
