In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Brookhaven Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Wesson Cobras.

The Panthers (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against North Pike (Summit, MS). The Jaguars come into the non-league challenge with a 2-9 record. In their last challenge, North Pike beat Jefferson County (Fayette, MS), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cobras meet the South Pike Eagles (Magnolia, MS) in a Class 3A Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. Wesson will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to McComb (McComb, MS).
