North Carolina High School Volleyball - Topsail over Dixon

In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Topsail Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Dixon Bulldogs.

The Pirates (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Wildcats come into the Mideastern 3A/4A challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, New Hanover was beaten by Whiteville (Whiteville, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the East Duplin Panthers (Beulaville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 29. Dixon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, NC).
