North Carolina High School Volleyball - North Surry over Elkin

The North Surry Greyhounds volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Elkin Buckin' Elks to 1 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Monday.

The Greyhounds now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Wilkes Central for a Foothills 2A outing on Tuesday, August 27. North Surry will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over NCSSM: Morganton (Morganton, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Elkin drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Buckin' elks host North Stokes (Danbury, NC) to play the Vikings in a Northwest 1A outing on Tuesday, August 27. The Vikings come into the outing with a record of 2-3. North Stokes won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Bethany (Summerfield, NC)
