In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Albemarle Patriots volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Western Albemarle Warriors.
The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Black Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 16. Western Albemarle will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
