In Tuesday's non-league match, the Clay Eagles (Oregon, OH) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Southview Cougars (Sylvania, OH), by a final score of 2-1.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Napoleon Wildcats (Napoleon, OH) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 28. Clay will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record.
The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH). The Bobcats come into the non-league bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Bowling Green was nudged by Ross (Fremont, OH), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
