Kentucky High School Soccer - Daviess County knocks off Apollo

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Daviess County Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Apollo Eagles.

The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against Henderson County (Henderson, KY). The Colonels go into the non-league outing with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Henderson County edged Christian County (Hopkinsville, KY), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Madisonville-North Hopkins for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Apollo will clash with a Maroons team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Christian County (Hopkinsville, KY). The Maroons record now stands at 3-2.
