In Tuesday's non-league contest, the DeKalb Barons (Waterloo, IN) soccer team routed the host Lakeland Lakers (LaGrange, IN), by a count of 7-0.
The Barons now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to New Haven for a North East Eight challenge on Thursday, August 28. DeKalb will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Southern Wells (Poneto, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Lakeland moves to 2-2 on the year. The Lakers travel to Central Noble (Albion, IN) to encounter the Cougars in a Northeast Corner challenge on Thursday, August 28. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Central Noble lost 6-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Bremen (Bremen, IN)
