The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones (Elizabethton, TN) and the visiting Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN), witnessed Elizabethton's soccer team beat Volunteer by a final score of 4-0.

With the triumph, Elizabethton moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Fighting Cyclones travel to Unicoi County (Erwin, TN) to meet the Blue Devils in a AA District 1 match on Tuesday, September 2. The Blue Devils come into the match with a record of 1-2. Unicoi County lost 5-0 in their recent league battle against Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN)

Next up, the Falcons confront the Morristown-Hamblen West Trojans (Morristown, TN) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 28. Volunteer will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Elizabethton (Elizabethton, TN).
