In Tuesday's league contest, the West Field Longhorns (Taylor, UT) soccer team routed the visiting Roy Royals (Roy, UT), by a count of 7-0.
Next, the Longhorns face the Northridge Knights (Layton, UT) in a 5A Region 5 contest, on Thursday, August 28. West Field will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 3-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Clearfield (Clearfield, UT).
The Royals (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bonneville (Washington Terrace, UT). The Lakers enter the 5A Region 5 challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Bonneville nudged Fremont (Plain City, UT), 3-1, in a league challenge.
