Illinois High School Volleyball - Althoff Catholic tips Breese Central

In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Althoff Catholic Crusaders volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Breese Central Cougars.

The Crusaders (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Columbia (Columbia, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Cougars face the Mascoutah Indians (Mascoutah, IL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 28. Breese Central will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Belleville West (Belleville, IL).
