The Ballard Memorial Bombers beat the host Mayfield Cardinals volleyball team by a tally of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Bombers now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Marshall County for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 28. Ballard Memorial will play a Marshals team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Christian Fellowship (Benton, KY). The Marshals record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Mayfield drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY) to play the Comets in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 28. The Comets come into the outing with a record of 1-2. Carlisle County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Graves County (Mayfield, KY)
