With the win, East Burke improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Cavaliers host Hibriten (Lenoir, NC) to meet the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 28. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 0-6. Hibriten lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against East Rutherford (Bostic, NC)

Next, the Panthers meet the Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 28. Patton will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 4-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC).
