The Pinecrest Patriots volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Purnell Swett Rams to 0 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Patriots now have a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwestern Randolph for a non-league game on Thursday, August 28. Pinecrest will face a Cougars squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 3-1.
The Rams (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Hoke County (Raeford, NC). The Bucks go into the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Hoke County defeated Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
