Michigan High School Soccer - Austin Catholic toppled by Shrine Catholic

The Shrine Catholic Knights triumphed over the host Austin Catholic Crusaders soccer squad by a margin of 5-1 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Knights now hold a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit for a Catholic West contest on Thursday, August 28. Shrine Catholic will face a Jaguars team coming off a 7-2 league loss to Bishop Foley (Madison Heights, MI). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-2.
The Crusaders (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Everest Collegiate (Clarkston, MI). The enter the Catholic West contest with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Everest Collegiate nudged Cardinal Mooney Catholic (Marine City, MI), 8-2, in a league challenge.
