Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Belpre Golden Eagles (Belpre, OH) and the visiting Shenandoah Zeps (Sarahsville, OH), saw Belpre's soccer squad overwhelm Shenandoah by a score of 15-1.
The Golden Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Marietta (Marietta, OH). The Tigers come into the Ohio Valley (OVAC) test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Marietta was overwhelmed by Fairfield Union (Lancaster, OH), 1-0, in a non-league test.
The Zeps now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Philo for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Shenandoah will clash with a Electrics team coming off a 9-3 league loss to Maysville (Zanesville, OH). The Electrics record now stands at 2-2.
