In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Richard Pioneers soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Cabrini Monarchs.
The Pioneers (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Gabriel Richard (Ann Arbor, MI). The Fighting Irish go into the non-league outing with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Gabriel Richard by Detroit Cristo Rey (Detroit, MI), 4-1, in a non-league test.
The Monarchs now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to University Liggett for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Cabrini will clash with a Knights team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Lumen Christi Catholic (Jackson, MI). The Knights record now stands at 3-1.
