Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the host Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC), 3-0 in a non-league outing.

The Blue Devils (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Spartans go into the non-league outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Community School of Davidson got by Forest Hills (Marshville, NC), 7-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 2. Draughn will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Patriots come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 0-0 non-league Statesville (Statesville, NC).
