In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Southwest Guilford Cowboys soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the High Point Central Bison.
The Cowboys (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 5-0 record. In their last outing, Southwestern Randolph edged Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC), 6-0, in a non-league test.
The Bison now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Southern Guilford for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 27. High Point Central will clash with a Storm team coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Dudley (Greensboro, NC). The Storm record now stands at 1-4.
