Temple Academy Crusaders (Powell, TN) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Oakwood Christian Eagles (Chickamauga, GA), 7-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Temple Academy advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Temple Baptist (Asheville, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Temple Baptist lost 2-1 in their recent league outing against Veritas Christian Academy (Arden, NC)

Next up, the Eagles play the Old Suwanee Christian Conquerors (Buford, GA) in a GCAA Region II outing, on Friday, September 5. Oakwood Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
