Nebraska High School Softball - Lexington knocked off by Adams Central

The Adams Central Patriots overwhelmed the visiting Lexington Minutemen softball squad by a count of 14-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Patriots now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairbury for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 28. Adams Central will encounter a Jeffs team coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Fillmore Central (Geneva, NE). The Jeffs record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Lexington moves to 0-5 on the season. The Minutemen travel to Highway 6 (Holdrege, NE) to meet the Trailblazers in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Trailblazers go into the test with a record of 2-2. Highway 6 lost 10-2 in their recent non-league test against Wilber-Clatonia (Wilber, NE)
