Georgia High School Softball - Turner County defeated by Atkinson County

The Turner County Titans softball squad (Ashburn, GA), was routed 15-0 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA)

With the triumph, Atkinson County improves its record to 1-6 on the year. The Rebels travel to Lanier County (Lakeland, GA) to face the Bulldogs in a 1A D-II Region 2 bout on Thursday, August 28. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Lanier County won 9-1 in their recent league bout against Clinch County (Homerville, GA)

In their next game, the Titans clash with the Charlton County Indians (Folkston, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 2 bout, on Thursday, August 28. Turner County will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 8-0 league win over Brooks County (Quitman, GA).
