In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Banks County Leopards softball team scored a tight 5-2 win over the Providence Christian Academy Storm.

The Leopards (10-1) will now prepare for their game against Commerce (Commerce, GA). The Tigers enter the 1A D-I Region 8 game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Commerce was routed by Elbert County (Elberton, GA), 11-2, in a league game.

The Storm (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA). The Patriots enter the 1A D-I Region 8 challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Oglethorpe County edged Rabun County (Tiger, GA), 10-6, in a league challenge.
