Nebraska High School Softball - Bellevue West succumbs to Millard South

In Tuesday's league test, the Millard South Patriots (Omaha, NE) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Bellevue West Thunderbirds (Bellevue, NE), by a tally of 14-2.

Next, the Patriots clash with the Gretna East Griffins (Gretna, NE) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 29. Millard South will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Griffins go into the test with a 3-0 record after their 9-0 league win over Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE).

The Thunderbirds (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE). The Storm come into the A District outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Elkhorn South was routed by Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE), 4-0, in a league outing.
