The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Edmond Memorial Bulldogs (Edmond, OK) and the visiting Edmond North Huskies (Edmond, OK), observed Edmond Memorial's softball team get by Edmond North by a final score of 7-1.

The Bulldogs (7-3) will now prepare for their bout against Putnam City North (Oklahoma City, OK). The Panthers go into the 6A District 2 bout with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Putnam City North was routed by Shawnee (Shawnee, OK), 5-4, in a non-league contest.

The Huskies now hold a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Enid for a non-league contest on Thursday, August 28. Edmond North will face a Plainsmen squad coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Crescent (Crescent, OK). The Plainsmen record now stands at 11-2.
