With the triumph, Effingham County improves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Rebels travel to Metter (Metter, GA) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Wednesday, August 27. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 4-3. Metter won 7-1 in their recent league game against Jenkins County (Millen, GA)

The Terrors now hold a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ware County for a non-league match on Thursday, August 28. Glynn Academy will battle a Gators team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Long County (Ludowici, GA). The Gators record now stands at 3-7.
