With the triumph, Emanuel County Institute upgrades its record to 8-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Claxton (Claxton, GA) to confront the Tigers in a 1A D-II Region 3 battle on Wednesday, August 27. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 1-2. Claxton lost 8-7 in their recent league battle against Screven County (Sylvania, GA)

With the loss, Portal moves to 3-4 on the year. The Panthers travel to Bryan County (Pembroke, GA) to play the Redskins in a 1A D-II Region 3 challenge on Thursday, August 28. The Redskins enter the challenge with a record of 7-5. Bryan County won 21-0 in their recent league battle against McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA)
