The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the First Presbyterian Day Vikings (Macon, GA) and the visiting Jasper County Hurricanes (Monticello, GA), observed First Presbyterian Day's softball team get by Jasper County by a tally of 7-1.

The Vikings (9-1) will now prepare for their bout against Pinewood Christian (Bellville, GA). The Patriots go into the non-league bout with a 2-5 record. In their last bout, Pinewood Christian was routed by David Emanuel Academy (Stillmore, GA), 5-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Hurricanes battle the Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, August 28. Jasper County will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 11-0 non-league win over Manchester (Manchester, GA).
