Colorado High School Softball - Loveland succumbs to Fossil Ridge

In Tuesday's league test, the Fossil Ridge SaberCats (Fort Collins, CO) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Loveland Red Wolves (Loveland, CO), by a tally of 11-1.

Next, the SaberCats clash with the Greeley West Spartans (Greeley, CO) in a 5A/4A Northern test, on Thursday, August 28. Fossil Ridge will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 4-2 record after their 17-0 league win over Poudre (Fort Collins, CO).

With the loss, Loveland moves to 2-3 on the season. The Red wolves host Rocky Mountain (Fort Collins, CO) to encounter the Lobos in a 5A/4A Northern outing on Wednesday, August 27. The Lobos come into the outing with a record of 2-4. Rocky Mountain lost 21-9 in their recent league outing against Fort Collins (Fort Collins, CO)
