The Georgia Military College Bulldogs softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Piedmont Academy Cougars to 11 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Georgia School for Innovation & Classics for a 1A D-II Region 5 battle on Thursday, August 28. Georgia Military College will confront a Patriots team coming off a 24-8 non-league win over Hephzibah (Hephzibah, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Piedmont Academy moves to 0-8 on the season. The Cougars host Bethlehem Christian Academy (Bethlehem, GA) to confront the Knights in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 28. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 5-4. Bethlehem Christian Academy won 14-4 in their recent non-league battle against Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA)
