The Gore Pirates triumphed over the visiting Vian Wolverines softball squad by a count of 13-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates meet the Hulbert Riders (Hulbert, OK) in a 2A outing, on Thursday, August 28. Gore will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Riders come into the outing with a 6-9 record after their 5-1 league win over Central (Sallisaw, OK).

The Wolverines (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Sequoyah (Tahlequah, OK). The Indians go into the 3A test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Sequoyah prevailed over Spiro (Spiro, OK), 14-2, in a league test.
