Georgia High School Softball - Woodland knocked off by Jones County

The Jones County Greyhounds overwhelmed the host Woodland Wolfpack softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Greyhounds meet the Social Circle Redskins (Social Circle, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 27. Jones County will attempt to advance on its 10-0 season record. The Redskins go into the test with a 7-2 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Mount Vernon (Atlanta, GA).

The Wolfpack (2-3) will now prepare for their test against McDonough (McDonough, GA). The Warhawks come into the 4A Region 2 outing with a 1-8 record. In their last outing, McDonough was routed by Hampton (Hampton, GA), 15-1, in a league outing.
