Next, the Jaguars play the Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA) in a 5A Region 7 challenge, on Wednesday, August 27. Seckinger will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Longhorns enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 9-7 league loss to Milton (Milton, GA).

The Hornets (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Etowah (Woodstock, GA). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Etowah was routed by Cherokee (Canton, GA), 3-1, in a league battle.
