Georgia High School Volleyball - Academy of Richmond County tips Lakeside

The Academy of Richmond County Musketeers (Augusta, GA) volleyball held off the host Lakeside Panthers (Evans, GA), 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Musketeers now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Fox Creek for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 28. Academy of Richmond County will clash with a Predators team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Batesburg-Leesville (Batesburg, SC). The Predators record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Lakeside drops to 7-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Effingham County (Springfield, GA) to clash with the Rebels in a 5A Area 1 North match on Thursday, August 28. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 4-5. Effingham County lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against May River (Bluffton, SC)
