In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Hawthorne Math & Science Academy Aviators volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Animo City of Champions Wildcats.

The Aviators (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against New Roads (Santa Monica, CA). The Jaguars come into the Coastal challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, New Roads beat Serra (Gardena, CA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Animo Watts Warriors (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 10. Animo City of Champions will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
