Ohio High School Volleyball - Elyria bounced by Avon Lake

Avon Lake Shoremen (Avon Lake, OH) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Elyria Pioneers (Elyria, OH), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Avon Lake improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Shoremen travel to Olmsted Falls (Olmsted Falls, OH) to face the Bulldogs in a Southwestern test on Thursday, August 28. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 4-1. Olmsted Falls won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Steele (Amherst, OH)

Next, the Pioneers meet the Steele Comets (Amherst, OH) in a Southwestern challenge, on Thursday, August 28. Elyria will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Olmsted Falls (Olmsted Falls, OH).
