Liberty County Panthers (Hinesville, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Beach Bulldogs (Savannah, GA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Johnson (Savannah, GA). The Atomsmashers enter the non-league challenge with a 1-9 record. In their last challenge, Johnson was beaten by Groves (Garden City, GA), 2-0, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southeast Bulloch for a 3A Area 3 test on Thursday, August 28. Beach will face a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Statesboro (Statesboro, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 2-8.
